 Baked Salmon with Asparagus and Brown Rice

 


 

Ingredients:

  • 200g of salmon fillet
  • 150g of asparagus
  • 100g of brown rice
  • 10g of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Baking sheet
  • Aluminum foil
  • Cooking pot
  • Knife
  • Cutting board

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  • Rinse the brown rice under cold water and cook it in a pot with 250ml of water over medium heat until it absorbs the water and becomes tender, about 30 minutes.
  • While the rice is cooking, place the salmon fillet on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the salmon and season with minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add the asparagus to the baking sheet, drizzling with a little more olive oil and seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork and the asparagus is tender.
  • Once cooked, fluff the brown rice with a fork.
  • Serve the baked salmon on a plate alongside the asparagus and brown rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
